Digging up yard to run cable underground?

    ADVERTS 1
Does anyone have an idea how this is done? I swear he said something about digging up the driveway, but I was in a hurry so I didn't get to ask too many questions.

they do not dig up a driveway. They will bore under it. If its a "drop" (the line that feeds your house) then in most cases they simply put a small slit in the ground and push the cable under. If the guy is good you want even notice he did it.

If its a feeder/truck line then they may create a path about 6-12 inches wide. Still if they are good you will hardly notice.

^ what he said. I doubt its a feeder replacement if the guy was there for a service call, shouldnt have anything worse then a small slit in the sod.
