feb1003,
Time Warner Cable does Bright House's deals.
They will probably have talks before the season starts and we will be teased but nothing will probably happen.
In 2012, they are going to a 16-game NFL Network schedule so that might help things next year by having more games.
Their top priority is getting on TWC/BHN so that could be a good sign and while it's nice to have hope, I'd bet on us not having it again this season or that RedZone channel.

maybe, nfl network will soften their demands, given the 4 month plus lockout. i'm sure they wouldn't want to lose fans.

iceturkee,
It would be nice but then again, they only lost some preseason games.
They will have talks so we shall see.

Hopefully the NFL Network will stop trying to rob everyone for their channel and instead only let those who wish to have it pay the high rate.

The NFL Network, could just stream the channel for us subs that can't get it on a cable system.
Forced from Dish to Time Warner Cable to get my hometown Buffalo Sabres Games and the NewYork Yankees. Looks Like I will keep the Rabbit Ears with Tin Foil and a Transistor Radio, handy just in case

Island that would mean the NFL cares about its viewers, instead of its bottom line. It does not want only the people who wish to watch the channel to have it. It wants MILLIONs of Americans to pay the fee for the channel who do not care about the channel. Much like most channels of the type.

They do if you have a Verizon Wireless smartphone, since VZW is the official wireless provider of the NFL. Or a smartphone from another provider and are able to find the hacked APK. I watched some NFL Network on my Evo last year, bottom line is it’s still a waste. A handful of live games a year does not make it worth it. ESPN does a much better job with highlights and analysis. Now what I did find cool was NFL Redzone. Last year I’d watch the Bills on my big screen and stream RedZone on my phone. But on Sundays from 1-7, NFL Network really has nothing of value on. It’s a scoreboard channel with post game interviews thrown in once the early games wrap up, which you can see on ESPN or ESPNEWS. Instead of the NFL making RedZone a totally separate part time channel, why not make it a programming block on NFL Network? Oh yeah that’s right, then they wouldn’t be able to rape their fans as much.

Thats true, however wouldn't it be in the best interests of NFL to make sure the channel is available in all areas of Country where the NFL plays, so they can at least rape their advertisers on viewership fees rather than have cities where you have a franchise in the dark?

Well you know Steve, last year CTV out of Toronto through TSN ran a mini redzone after 4pm when the early game was over; moving to live action, game to game. It was pretty kewl and if the NFL Redzone is anything like the ESPN Game Day channel for college games, it would awesome to have.
