Orlando, Tampa Bay and Bakersfield Might Get Weather Channel HD Soon

Orlando, Tampa Bay and Bakersfield might finally get The Weather Channel HD soon.

It was added in Birmingham, Michigan, Indiana and the Panhandle in 08 or early 09.

I've always suspected the fact it was on month to month deals was the reason and now, Time Warner Legal Notices seem to confirm there is a new deal for it as it's no longer on the month to month agreement list.

We've gotten things like Encore HD while on the agreements and while Time Warner customers have gotten Weather Channel HD while on month to month agreements, it's the only reason I can think of why we do not have it.

After all, can you name a bigger channel we have in SD but not HD.

Orlando will likely gets it's monthly notice on Friday and it's possible The Weather Channel Hd will launch soon here and in Tampa Bay along with Bakersfield.

Bakersfield is getting it December 1.

Orlando/Tampa Bay will probably get it by the end of the first quarter of 2012.
