Motorla Box Won't Retain 4:3 override settings

    ADVERTS 1
I figured out how to get into another settings menu while the box is off to change the 4:3 override setting to stretch. I want my non-HD channels to fit the screen. However, the box will not retain the setting. I'm passing the HDMI from the box through an Onkyo receiver. How do I make the box retain the settings? Box is a Motorola DCT6412 III.

Yes, it was with the old DVR box. The TIVO in the LR works fine as does the BH HD box in the bedroom. It think the HD pass through messed it up. When the receiver was off the digital channels were stretched but when it was on the weren't and I had to redo the settings.
