cablecard problems

I had brighthouse come out today to install a cable card on my tivo premiere. They can't seem to get the digital adn hd channels working. The people in my area seem to be clueless. Shouldn't channels work with an authorized cablecard? The tech couldn't figure it out and told me to call the office. I call the office and they couldn't figure it out either. Has anyone had any trouble like this before?

I forgot to mention that all the channels do come in on the hd box provided by bright house in my other room

Problem solved! There were some codes that were not getting to the card. Works great with TIVO now. A great customer experience with BH.
