Old 1-way DirecPC Internet?

Sponsored Links
Hello, new guy here.

I used to use DirecPC back when it was 1-way only in conjuntion with a dial-up.

The one I used was a PCI model with the F-connector on the card.

As of April 2008, can these still be turned on?

Thank You

Well, with no replies, I called Hughes.
I told them I had read that they did not advertise support for the old 1-way, but would turn it on.
He said that they stopped that about a year ago.

So, that dish will become an FTA dish.....so much for that !

I may look into SkyWay 1-way or just get cable-internet..?

I could dedicte an LNB to it if it is worth anything, but I hear it sucks.

Depends on how bad your dialup is. I have people contact me saying that they cannot even get a reliable dial tone to call let alone a dialup connection and having connection rates of around 9-12k. For latency, dialup would be better. My dialup is pretty reliable as far as keeping connected. It's rock solid.
