Logging on to my works internet service from home.
ADVERTS 1
I work from home a lot and have been getting close to my FAP threshold. My home and Work have the same satellite internet service (Wild blue). Is there a way that I can log on through my works account from my home using my dish and modem so I am on their FAP. I have an active account. If it can be done at all, then can it be done if you have the equipment but dont have service.
I'm thinking like how you can watch your satellite TV at your cabin with the box and a dish, because you have service at your house.
Thanks, Andrea

to SatelliteGuys!!
No sorry there is no way to do that. I see a lot of people hit their Fap, that try to do business from home. I know one customer that I have that has two accounts and yes pays two bills but he is pretty much loaded too. He has the top WB service and Hughesnet. He is way to far in the boonies for DSL or Cable or anything.FTA---> OpenBox S10, Icon S550, Coolsat 5000 Platinum and a couple others not hooked up....8' for C-band and Ku with DMX741U 72W to 131W...36" Ku fixed at AMC-21

If you are on the top service you may look into Hughesnet they have a service that is more a month but you get a higher Fap made for businesses. If you can afford it that is. The guy I talked about he has a business account with Hughes and pays $199 a month I think he said, but there are others.

Besides having a much lower contention ratio, the Hughes business-grade plans feature value-added options that are not available on the consumer grade stuff. There are quite a few, but the most popular include VPN acceleration, HTTPS acceleration, and satellite VoIP that actually works. Plus tech support is based in the good ol' US of A.
Good chance that it's tax deductible as a business expense too.
