    Strange internet problems

    ADVERTS 1
    Help!

So, a few days ago I started having this wierd problem.
Mail sites like aol and gmail won't let me log in on my home connection, the connection will just time out. It's not my computer, it happens to anyone using this connection. My next door neighbors are fine, and my connection at school works great, but any computers connected at home have this problem! Wierd. I have time warner cable by the way, and live in 14226.

    thanks!

it could be a problem with any part of your connection at home... your modem, router, ect...
Do you have a router? If so, first thing I would do is plug a computer (preferably a laptop or something that you know works elsewhere) directly up to the modem (reset the modem) and see if it works. If it does, your router is screwed up, or a setting in your router is screwed up. Probably something having to do with the dns server, or something like that.

If you don't have a router, i'd call time warner, cause the only other thing it could be is a problem with your modem.
