Well, I did a master reset but after being on G1-3 for over 2 hours there was no updating done at all. Is the receiver suppose to be off or on for updates?

University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs mens hockey team
Defending National Champions
current number 3 in the country (but doesnt mean much honestly)

Thanks. Turns out that my calculations for G1 were off by 1 sat east.
But now I'm on G1 and I have positively identified the sat I'm parked on is G1. However, after being parked on G1-3 for the past 12 hours, I'm still not getting W5 in the satellite map and the time is still incorrect.
Well, I tried one last unplug/replug of the AC power before going to work this morning and when I returned home W5 is now shown in the map.Last edited by johnnynobody; 10-01-2009 at 04:46 PM. Reason: update

You have to modulate the Satellite and OTA signals. Then mix them into the master antenna system and send it off to each tv through a distribution amp/ splitters etc.

what is usually used to do the modulation for home systems? I believe I can figure out the amp/splitter parts.
