I see that Direct & Dish are alive & strong and they don't trash other forums.
To me, although I'm a fairly new member, was almost afraid to ask or comment in the 4DTV section anymore in fear it would lead to Pizza Bashing.
Plus I see more activity in the C-Band section anyway.
One of the last threads in the 4d section was about the old HD decoder for C-Band and it turned into a Pizza Bashing contest.
So all I've done is to save this link to my Toolbar and deleted the 4DTV link.7.5' Winegard mesh, 922 4DTV Receiver, OpenBox S9, LG 46" Plasma, CM 3671 OTA Antenna, Denon AVR 4800, Denon DRW 840 cassette deck, Sherwood EQ200 Graphic Equalizer, Sony SCD CE595 5 disk CD Player, 2 Cerwin Vega CLS 215, Pioneer S-W1000 Sub Woofer, H2H Subscriber, FTA & OTA.

Seriously? Put down the kool aid. As I posted before back in the spring it was talked about merging the 2 forums back together due to threads being put in the wrong area and also 4DTV isnt what it was back 2 years ago when the forum was split off. But Scott said lets wait because there were still changes going on with 4DTV. Now there hasnt been anything new honestly programming wise (either adding or removing) and its been in a lull. So it looks like Scott merged them back. As anole said maybe it would generate some more interest.
