New old ADL Feedhorn need info.

    ADVERTS 1
I found a adl feedhorn for $30.00 and would like the know some info.
First what way do you mount this feed, It will be replacing my combo 741 lnbf.
Second there are no marks for f/d,so should I just use the old tape measure.
Third Is this c-band lnb a good brand ?
Forth do we have a manual for this type of feedhorn or does anyone have the
manual. Here are some pics to enjoy. Thanks

The feed is an ADL RP3 C-KU it's almost like a Chaparral. So you can follow there installation info. The LNB is a Super Ice (Rice Burner junk) that was sold on Satellite city. I would get another LNB and use it with the feed. It may not work well with digital.

"Worlds first elbowless lnb" gotta love it Gary (Satellite City) talked me into buying one and it turned out to be a nice Cal-Amp 30 degree so I wouldn't throw it out unless I gave it a try. Its not a Cal-Amp for sure but it might work ok provided lightning didn't get it over the years. BTW, you did ok for the $$, the ADLs are nice feedhorns, I have an RP1

I have two Cal-Amp mini-mag lnb's, so I should be ok. And to drive
    the servo I have a 905 4dtv box, and or a Pansat 3500sd, so I'm
    covered on that.

I have a ? about the pansat 3500sd and it's servo controller. Is there
a way to run the ku-side at a fixed voltage say 18volts. I see lnb settings
to run C-band this way, but not ku. If not I think I have a hardware solution
that would work.I have and old channel master switch 4x4. I might try that
and run the ku 13v and 18v to a slitter with a d.c. pass on the 18v side.
    Any info would help.

Well this idea works good.I just don't know if I need the rotate the feedhorn
using the servo motor or the ku elbow as my guide.I tried both and went with
using the ku elbow. I didn't know if it would make a difference with the ku at 90
offset from the c-band. Anyone have a thought.
