Radio Shack 7.5' dish and mount

    ADVERTS 1
I went and looked at a Radio Shack dish today.
It has an H2H mount on it.
It must be pretty old as the owner said it has an LNA on it rather than an LNB

Anyone know what mount they used?
It looks like a miniature Ajak 180

    Anyone know?

    There were three AJAK models.
The AJAK 180 was the big boy.
Get some pictures; I'm sure we can identify it.
I think Linuxman has all three models, and other members have different versions, too.

I went back and got the dish today. The dish is really a nightmare as it does not come apart in 1/4s and has to be totally disassembled, but the mount is what I was after.

It has a Von Weise motor but looks like a Ajak

    Can anyone identify it?
Does anyone have a manual or instructions?

i hope you get the parts you been looking for.
that elevation rod (guess looks to much for declination) is different.
    wonder how declination works
    thanks

    medium sized AJAK:

A member by the name of Satfaca posted pictures of that motor, but it was some time back.
You can search on his posts for the pictures and whatever he had to say about it.

By my notes, Linuxman had/has an identical unit.
However, my pictures of it are zoomed in a bit too much and I can't guarantee it's the same.

Once upon a time, I started a thread asking about availability of the various models of AJAK motor.
The answers I got were very illuminating.
    I think it'll be helpful.

I think this may be a good motor for a "Motorize the 1.2 meter Primestar Dish" project.
