APTN Direct going away

I was watching APTN Direct on 87w Cband and they say 9 days left before they switch to HD only encrypted service.

from what I read they moved to S2 and encrypted

It still is ITC, but shows that they will go HD and encrypted in 9 days.

I understand that. What I'm saying is there is a S2 mux already up there (dual illuminate) but that one is encrypted

Could be interesting. A lot of northern folks (along with us southerners) are going to be disappointed! Will see what happens after the switch.

Its not that one that you're thinking of. I know you're thinking of APTN the Aboriginal Television Network (which rocks by the way). Thats on 107.3 C-Band

Last time I saw that card it said they had delayed, something about HD only, but it is Associated Press tv network, only see feeds on it sometimes. This morning the cruise ship disaster was being beamed back on the channel.
Icon 550, Vantage 1100HD (thanks Stogie) on .90M primestar DG380 motor.10'Sami+GI650 for c-band.
CS5000 now on 1m primestar-polar mount backup system.
