Thumbs up How-to: Update your Satfinder satellite list

    ADVERTS
The satellite list that comes with Satellite Finder is badly in need of an update. The good news is that it's easy to do. The help tab tells you how to do it.

To make it even easier, linked below is an updated satellite list that I put together that includes everything from 1W to 148W. It's kind of neat to see just how far East you can go if LOS doesn't become a problem.

The satlist.txt file I updated file is on my web site:

    satlist.txt

    - (rt-click, save as).

If you want to keep the original, be sure to back it up before replacing the file on your system.

The file you want to update is located in your profile at:
    C:\Documents and Settings\YourComputerLoginID\.SatFinder/satlist.txt

Replace or edit this file as you feel fit .
