If MGM is airing it in HD, hopefully it's only a matter of time before Encore airs it in HD rather than pillarboxed...

Yeah and 5.1 sound... time for HDNMV to get it again although I have 2 copys of How the West was Won, 1 from Max and 1 from HDNMV and they are pretty much identical even down to size... probably going to get Papillon and Time After Time also

MGM's only break in the movie is a station ad for about a minute. I can handle it for the variety of things they show. Been waiting for Great Escape also.

In a movie as long as The Great Escape, I'm expecting several station ad breaks, but still, skipping past them won't be any big deal. The preview for The Great Escape looked OAR, so I'm hoping they do indeed show it OAR later today!
