Excellent five-star movie! One of the best foreign movies of the last decade! One of my all-time favorites!
It was shown on VOOM before, long time ago. I used to have it on my old DVR, but I replaced the DVR since then.
Not available on HD DVD or Blu-ray yet. I am so glad I will be able to archive it at last!Ilya @ SatelliteGuys.us

Galaxy Quest - 1/13 10pm EST
Remarkable because it manages to be an excellent SciFi film at the same time that it is an excellent satire of SciFi. Unfortunately, the Cinemax-HD showing earlier this week, of this underrated action/fantasy/sword film, was not in OAR. The original is 2.35:1 and this was shown as 16:9. (I guess the one advantage of this "zooming" is that the resolution is actually more.) Also, the most recent DVD remastered the soundtrack to 5.1, while the Cinemax-HD sound was the earlier Dolby Surround.
