The 5/24 showing (currently broadcasting) is HD, OAR, DD5.1 (surround plainly audible), and a very good transfer with excellent contrast (don't judge by underwater scenes, of course).

The broadcast started with a slate "Edited for Time" and "Edited for Content", but the time slot is more than long enough to have more than the industry norm for commercial minutes without cutting a minute.

I think that the slate actually will be in use for the 5/25 showing which follows baseball and is still a 15 minutes shorter slot than today's showing (and, of course, the baseball is likely to run over).

I expect that any channel that runs sports has sections of films marked for removal-without-affecting-the-plot, and they will remove those from the queue if the game runs over...

This is highly recommended:

- One of the best music documentaries
- One of the best documentaries on the 60's
- One of the best "behind the scenes" looks at the real life of a famous star
- And a Must-see for anyone who likes Bob Dylan

Hopefully MHD will show some of his other rock documentaries, like Monterey Pop and Ziggy Stardust.

PS The film is 96 minutes, and MHD seems to usually follow films with related HD music videos, so it wouldn't hurt to record the whole 2 hour time slot. Be sure to start a couple of minutes early, as MHD (and all Viacom Music channels) are notorious for starting significantly early or late...

Update: MHD showed commercials (or commercial breaks with IDs and PSIs) so the time from beginning to end was greater than 96 minutes - something to remember during future MHD movies.

Also, the original film was shot in 16mm, black and white, and 4:3, so the quality in HD was only very marginally better than SD, in this particular case.

Still very worthwhile if it comes around again.
