Thread: NBC Olympic Coverage: HD Coverage Delay?

How much of a delay are we having with this VOOM HD coverage? Is it more of a delay than the non digital signal?

It is a 24 hour delay for the HD.

The delay happens to the same in all providers and OTA.

They re-ran Womens Gymnastics last night, from the day before.

Aren't there any other events??

Yeah but if you watched the programming they display a list of upcoming events, it said "UP NEXT: Women's Gymnastic Team's Finals - Encore Presentation"

I think the gymnastics is probably their most popular Olympic event it gets all the prime time coverage, so they showed what looks to be another 30 minutes of it yesterday. Tonights should be good to watch as we get to see Mary Lou Rhetton II do it again, but I'm really waiting for some of the first Track and Field HD coverages that are going to start Saturday.
