Dr Who Theme songs over the years
ADVERTS 1
I was poking around tonight and found a nice concise post with all the theme songs over the years. Brings back some memories for me of when I first started watching the show as a 7 year old.

cool link! Its interesting how each doctor has subtile changes to the theme, with the occasional big change (Colin Baker for example). I like the current version best, at least so far.

My favorite has always been the original. From William Hartnell to Tom Baker the theme didn't change all that much. Don't mind the theme from Baker's last series to Colin Baker's run, but that Sylvester McCoy mix was horrible. Really like the new theme, have it as a ringtone.

The original and the Tennent versions are my favorites. The original wins out by a hair due to the nostalgia

I always like the original, and when it was updated during Tom's finale season, it was still good. Didn't care for the remixing when Colin came on board though.
But they ruined it when McCoy started.
The current theme is okay, as it ignores the changes made in the McCoy's years and hearkens back to the old days.
Be interesting to see what they do with Matt Smith's. I have a feeling the intro will be completely different, with a new mixing on the theme music.
