Thread: Cooking Channel Launching May 31st

A new channel, owned by the parent channel, Food Network is set to launch May 31st. Any word on which providers will carry this new channel?

I cannot detect any difference between the two channels.

It seems they simply decided not to call it "Food Network 2"...

The thing these days is we got to much of the same crap.We need providers to give us something new and original.Example you got HGTV,DIY,FINE LIVING,STYLE and alot of them show around the same programming

I agree for example: Man VS Food, Food Wars-that sticks out to me

The NY Times recently wrote a column on the new channel. Cooking Channel is supposed to debut May 31st. It's supposed to be hipper & grittier than it's parent channel, Food Network...
