Speaking of decent upconverts... M*A*S*H on Hallmark HD

Hallmark is showing M*A*S*H, and the picture quality is great. Just watched "Captain Tuttle" - one of the all-time classic episodes.

"We can all be comforted by the thought that he's not really gone, there's a little Tuttle left in all of us, in fact you might say that all of us together made up Tuttle. Our grief will pass, it's already hard to remember how Johnny talked, how he looked. His little laugh. Thankfully he's left behind a memorial. We salute you Captain Tuttle. Humanitarian and healer. God, I love that show. And am glad to find good up-converts. Looks like my DVR will be getting more recordings this summer. And probably time for another external hard drive.

I came across M*A*S*H today and was amazed by the quality... been getting selected Cheers episodes off of WGN and Hallmark for a month or two (mainly Cheers vs. Gary's Old Town Tavern episodes)

I set up a record all episodes timer; 4 per day, 5 days per week. Cool. This is definitely worth archiving.

With 20 episodes a week, they are already up to the 4th season. So enjoyable to watch! I am filling hard drives with it!
