WWE RAW, Smackdown, NXT, Superstars discussion
ADVERTS 1
I figured I'd split this off from the "NXT rookies invading RAW" thread, since that one was getting a bit large and hard to read through. This is also for all the excellent WWE PPV's.

I'm getting tired of watching Taped RAW events... I watched them even though most would suck cause they were LIVE, even if I did a DVR record of it I knew I could catch something that may or may not slip or get caught by the editing team. It's part of the excitement such as when a top may come off one of the diva's during a match which has happened several times in the past!
IMO them doing this only hurts their ratings.
p.s. Does anyone here think for one second that Zack Rider will beat Shamus for the title? LMAO yeah WWE is really getting predictable.

I hate taped events as well. But hey, at least the show isn't taped and heavily edited each week like Impact.

So, the word going around online is that Serena Deeb has been released. If it's true then it sucks. She was one of the few diva's besides Gail, Natalya and Tamina that I could tolerate.

Today is Vince's 65th birthday. He was born August 24, 1945. I wonder if anyone will have to join the Kiss my Ass club, for this milestone? j/k

Finished watching RAW from monday on my DVR.. yeah boring all the way through.
The 6 man match at the next PPV has the same people in it once again....
If WWE plans to bring any excitement back they should bring back the RAW is WAR theme and really tear some stuff up! Give us the new GM, blow up more cars, destroy more parts of the sets but with different bigger names. Just too darn predictable week in and week out.

WWE Diva Serena Released: Backstage Details

Following initial reports on Monday evening, we can confirm that SmackDown diva Serena has been released from World Wrestling Entertainment. She had made her WWE in-ring debut during last week’s SmackDown, defeating Kelly Kelly in a mixed tag match. The decision to cut the Straight Edge Society member was made shortly after last week’s SmackDown tapings. An official announcement has not yet been made by WWE and likely will not be made until the weekend. She appeared at last Wednesday’s SmackDown tapings (set to air this Friday night) and accompanied Luke Gallows to the ring for his match with the Big Show. While we are awaiting confirmation as to the “final straw” that led to Serena’s release, two WWE sources have informed SEScoops.com that her recent conduct on the road was major factor. Unlike Straight Edge Society leader CM Punk, who lives his substance-free gimmick in real life, Serena liked to be party and it got the attention of WWE management. After being warned several times, there was a recent incident (which we’re still getting that details on) that led to her being released.WWE had reportedly been planning a romantic angle between Serena and CM Punk int he coming weeks.

I'm all for an edgier product, since it was the Attitude Era that got me watching wrestling, but it's not going to happen anytime soon. The Mcmahon's are hell bent on making it a family oriented product and don't want all the sex, violence, blood, cursing etc. that made them a boat load of money.
I have to agree with you on RAW, I DVR'd it and it was a really predictable program from top to bottom. The only emphasis seemed to be on the 6 pack challenge at the next PPV, which features the same names that have headlined their PPV's for years.Last edited by Tvfan24/7; 08-24-2010 at 01:39 PM. They were overseas last week and this week.....easier to tape a show here than to try to have one live overseas. The only ones they do "live" overseas are from the UK (well its done monday night in the UK and shown 6 hours later in the states) and its probably due to the availablity of production stuff
