Anyone watching, see the sparks coming off the right side of the cutterhead? that's likely from 1)hitting the shale & 2) not keeping the bits up...
I saw several on the right side of the head with no tips and a couple of broken bits, and could see the machine bouncing because of it...

It took me a couple seasons to warm-up to Deadliest Catch. Offhand, this show doesn't interest me...but I'll set a timer and give it a try.

I can't help but think that it's trying to cash in. Just a little bit. In the same way TLC tends to clone their reality shows.

I didn't even know it was a series till I saw an ad for it in my Directv guide and hit record.

They are running this mine with a generator, no wonder the operators kick the power as a miner, even a tiny one like the one on this series will use a lot of amps...
