My timer is set ,but I am betting this is a rip off of" Battle for L.A." movie I saw a few months back at the theater.

Are you on Dish or Direct? I've got Dish and can't set a timer out that far, or at least I haven't figured out how.

Ah, OK. I tend to not use Dish Pass much at all, hence I didn't think of that. Any particular downside to using Dish Pass?

Not really to many downsides . You can select the channel you want it to stay on, like 138 TNT. You can select HD preference and limit it to how many episodes you want to save, as well as traditional new or all episodes. The only downside I've seen, is that sometimes the show title is too long to fit in and you end up with only the first two words and you don't get the whole title, which means no accuracy for the timer . For example : "Two guys , a girl and a pizza place" would never work because it is too long a title to fit in the limited space.
