Thread: Thanks HD Cinema for bringing OAR movies....

Before this year, there were a lot of critism taken by HD Cinema & Monsters HD for not showing movies in their OAR. Since 1/1/05, HD Cinema (including Monsters HD) has been showing new movies in their OAR. The percent is like 94% of the movies. As we critized them for airing crop movies, I think it is time to show them appreciation for changing their policies. I am going to send an email to HD Cinema and Monsters movies executives, thanking them for doing this and that going forward the OAR policy should remain the same (should VOOM remain in business).

Put simply, OAR is the way the movies were meant to be seen. I'm glad that Voom recognizes the importance of this and has shown a commitment to presenting the movies as they were intended. It really helps put the "theatre" feeling in "home theatre".

Now if only the premium movie channels would listen as good as Voom did about OAR.
