HDNet Movies
ADVERTS 1
I want to add the Dish HD package and I was looking at HDNet's website(schedule). I noticed a lot of good movies are on earlier than I'd like. It's a shame you can't watch them on demand, when you want. HDNet Movies would be even better if they had this capability. No, I don't have a way to record them in HD. Do you think this will ever happen?

Cable hasn't found a way to make money with VOD (yet) so don't expect anything from Charlie until a business model supports his making money...and this won't happen unless original programming is offered. Without original content being offered on VOD, most of us find that a DVR will suffice. Just my opinion...

Get yourself a DVR/DVD recorder. I use the Panny E-85H and even at 110" I get a great picture.

HDNet Movies
I E-mailed Mark Cuban last night with this question, and I already got a response today. He said the distributors don't have enough bandwidth to do it. I wish everybody in the HD business cared like he does.
