Thread: Is playboy worth it??

I ordered the baby voom ( They need to change that name as it sounds so gay )

And the HBO package, and then called and added the Playboy HD..

So in one word, is it worth it to see playboy in General, and than the fact that its in HD

Mostly yes in general, emphatic yes in HD. Some on the left coast have complained they miss all the good programming b/c of air times. In fact, I think a new Night Calls airs tonight, 8 EDT.

Obviously, it depends on your interests. If you are into porn definitely yes (although it is not really hard core). If you are into history/science/sports I would say not.

I heard late at night they show hardcore stuff, just no money shots!

I had subbed to PBHD for a month and dropped it due to the content that aired during my viewing hours on the Left Coast: Nooner replay (tell me how a Nooner can last 3 hours, I want one of those!).

Anyway, I just bought a Panasonic DVD/Hard Drive recorder and resubbed to PBHD since I can now timeshift everything. The quality of the picture coming off this device is superb. I watch it in Normal mode so it doesn't fill up my screen all the way, but I still have an image larger than a 65" RPTV and it looks great. Plus I can archive the shows to DVD. The player lets me edit the clips so I can cut out unwanted scenes and reassemble them or rearrange the chapters, it's totally cool.

So, yes, it's worth it if you have a PVR or some way to timeshift it.

Actually, it's 8 feet across when I watch live, and yes, it's dangerous!
