    Step in the right direction. Now we need the local stations to put in the infrastructure to be able to use this new capacity. Our local station that shows Wheel of Furture and Jeporday don't so why the shows are in HD we get the SD version (don't care about those since I don't watch them anyway).

    I was told that local stations have to upgrade so they can record the HD stream.. the network broadcasts are at the same time, so they just foward the signal on.. this is what I got from my local tv person when I asked.. mind you that's the shortened version..
