    CableCard?

    ADVERTS 1
Does anyone here have experience with Cablevision's CableCards?

Do they provide a multi-channel card? Can you get PPV events using a CableCard? Video on demand?

The new Tivo unit looks pretty impressive... I'm wondering what (if anyting) I'd have to sacrifice moving from a CV's HD DVR to the new HD Tivo, running a Cablevision CableCard?

Should have done a little research... this article
    (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,2161819,00.asp

) answers some of these questions.

"Both of the TiVo slots are only CableCARD 1.0 compliant at the moment, so pay-per-view and video on demand are not yet supported."

But, I'd still like to know if Cablevision will supply a "multistream" CableCard, and if they supply only 1.0 cards, or also 2.0?
