Will Cablevision offer FOX Business News Channel on Oct. 15?

There is some debate if Cablevision will offer FOX Business Channel.

Apparently, the FOX Business Website states it will be offered in the Cablevision area, but isn't clear which provider. Maybe only FIOS? Maybe Cablevision and FIOS?

Verizon's FiOS TV, with 515,000 subscribers nationwide, will carry the network on Channel 94 on its premier lineup, which most customers have, spokeswoman Heather Wilner said.

Cablevision doesn't have an agreement to carry the network and doesn't comment on the status of discussions, if any, regarding new channels.

Still not available as of this morning. Channel 106 is available. Why don't they just put it there. It is the open channel right before Bloomber TV on Channel 107.

It's not just going to appear. If they add it, it will be announced and show up over a 3 day period. I'm just shocked that FOX didn't make sure CV agreed to carry it when the extension to carry FNC was done in the spring.

Maybe News Corp gave in on FBN in order to get MSG-HD & FSNY-HD for Directv, who knows?
