I'd like to see NASATV, personally. What about getting rid of some of those on demand "info" channels???? They have to be taking up a good amount of bandwidth, no??

Is that different then Great American Country, the channel that was recently added on 181 or CMT on 187? How many Country Music stations are needed?

And we dont have BBC America. I remember complaining years ago about this, its a joke, every TV provider has BBC America except Cablevision.
I have seen BBC America ads posted at the Long island RR stations, pretty funny since no one can watch it. Well actually most ppl here have satellite TV and use Cable for internet and phone, maybe I should go that route too since I am sick of waiting for Fios.

What are you talking about? Cablevision has 4 million video subscribers on Long Island. Stop and think before you talk.

What is on BBC America? I always hear people talking about it, but I've never seen it.

Well I see alot of satellite dishes on roofs that all I can say. The thing I dont like about satellite is if something goes wrong you can be up a creek for awhile not to mention repair charges.
What would really be cool is if they had RFD-TV, heck, Fios dont even have that, RFD is satellite only I think.

What's funny is that if you compare FIOS and CV I think CV comes out quite well: although they each have channels the other doesn't I think CV's lineup is preferable and there are a boatload of issues being reported with FIOS.

I have OOL but not CV (I have DN) and keep getting bombarded with triple-play offers. They are very tempting (even considering the problems reported with the CV DVR) but I won't even CONSIDER switching from DN until CV adds BBCAmerica and RFD-TV (I'd like HDNet and FineLiving/DIY as well but I could live without them). I can understand CV not carrying RFD (it's kind of specialized and not everyone is like wifey who is into horses) but not carrying BBCAmerica is pure idiocy on the part of Dolan.

I HAVE been pleasantly surprised at the HD channels CV has added recently so perhaps there's hope.

It is a 24/7 country music channel that use to be VH1 Country.
