Cablevision does use SDV. Right now is has been for Subscription Sports Packages (MLBEI), International Channel Packages & Premium HD movie channels. I'm curious to see if the Premium Channel HD feeds go to SDV and the rest aren't.

Since Brooklyn/Bronx are 100% digital systems, and I believe they are also 850 Mhz systems as well, I dont think they have bandwidth concerns to worry about SDV right now..

Just the ones that were added a few months ago. The main premiums HD channels (HBO HD, SHO HD, etc.) are still non-SDV.

Yup, being all digital we've been immune to many of the HD quality problems experienced in other areas and the SDV station not available message has never been a concern for us either.
