Cablevision goes HD crazy!

Just got word from my insiders at Cablevision that Cablevision is about to go HD Crazy! They are launching 30 new HD channels in the Bronx and Brooklyn! In all other Cablevision areas they will be adding 8 HD channels!

Customers in Bronx: As of April 20th, 30 new HD channels will be added to your lineup. High definition channels can be found beginning on Ch. 702.

Customers in Brooklyn: As of April 21st, 30 new HD channels will be added to your lineup. High definition channels can be found beginning on Ch. 702.



Customers in all other service areas: Cablevision has announced plans to significantly expand our HD programming across our service area by the end of June of this year. As of April 24th, 8 new HD channels will be added to your lineup - A&E, E!, History Channel, BET, Bio, Crime & Investigation, G4 and Palladia.

The channels coming to The Bronx and Brooklyn include:

As of [DATE], 30 new HD channels will be added to our lineup - 4 HBO, 2 Starz, 4 Cinemax, 3 TMC, 4 Showtime plus A&E, E!, History Channel, BET, Bio, Crime & Investigation, G4, QVC, Planet Green, Style, Outdoor Channel, NBA TV and Palladia! High definition channels can be found beginning on Ch. 702. Availability of HD channels depends on level of service. An HD digital cable box or CableCARD is needed.
