Free NHL GameCenter Live w/ Centre Ice
ADVERTS 1
Both Shaw Direct and Bell appear to be offering free NHL GameCenter Live (online streams of games) if you order Centre Ice.
Bell:
Bell TV Online
ShawDirect:
NHL GameCenter LIVE™ - Shaw Direct
With more games being produced in HD this season, crazily you might be able to see more HD feeds online than on *C or Bell.

Well SD e-mailed me the promotional code you need to complete the registration. Guess what the NHL's sites response to the code was....
The promotion code you entered is not valid. Please check the code.
I guess they just pulled it out of a hat! lol

Odd -- I submitted the form w/ ShawDirect for my code, got it the following day, and it worked as advertised when I punched it in on the Gamecenter site.
I think there were spaces after the code though -- did you copy and paste it so there were no spaces?

Update for 2010-11 Hokey Season
Shaw told me they are not offering NHL GameCentre Live this season. Bell offers it but told me I cannot get 'Live' in the USA if I am registered in Canada. I am spending winter in florida and want to get games on my laptop with HS Internet. Can someonw confirm and update all this for coming season. The story seems to change with every call.

Well NHLCI needs to update their webstie then regarding Shaw Direct:

Shaw Direct - NHL.com - NHL Centre Ice
I'm not saying you are wrong, but many CSRs do not have a clue about NHL Gamecenter Live. Did you talk to a CSR or did you get that answer through "Ask Jim" on their wensite?
