SO GOOD! seriously, though, where was the publicity? with AMC-HD, there is all kinds of hype (including two messages deliverd to my reciever), with this, it was really just a rumor that came out just a few days ago.
EDIT: anyone know what sat/transponder it's on?Last edited by Frenchophile; 10-15-2009 at 07:32 AM.

Finally Shaw responds to Shaw Direct customer HD requests. Last 2 additions (Big 10 + AMC) were put up to primarily generate revenue for Shaw Broadcast Services.
Next 2 HD additions for SBS are rumoured to be CNN and History East. They will be adding Nick Canada in SD in November.

here
is more info from their website.
It will be on Freeview until Nov 30th, then part of HD Sports, which at $2.99, is really turning into a bargain, imho.
