    Laptop to PVR

    ADVERTS
I have a Bell 9241 HD PVR and a older Sony TV that is not HD. I want to connect my laptop with HDMI to my PVR, but when I connect it to the hdmi plug on my PVR nothing happens, can anyone make some suggestions other than go buy a new tv.

    Thanks

If I read your post correctly, you are trying to watch HD from the 9241 on your Laptop.?

I doubt this will work, as the HDMI port on the Laptop is most likely an Output, not an Input.

If the Sony TV has Component Inputs, you can use those and set the 9241 to 480i for SD output via Component.
