starchoice with trimax 2200 meter

goodday all..well im kinda stumped as to what settings to input my trimax meter to find the starchoice bird, like what transponder to input and all those the other info. i looked at lyngsat site and i cannot for the life of me figure out the mumbo jumbo.could someone please help me out please.......i thnkyou in advance...oh im using the 6oe elliptical dish with the quad lnb........thx

The Starchoice birds use DC2 for the modulation / encryption. The problem is it (The Trimax) can not decode this modulation. Knowing this I am unsure if it will be able to even give you a Q (Quality) rating.


To answer your question

Type this into Google

"Star Choice on Anik F1R at 107.3°W"


It will give you the info you need. You may have to use the provided interface cable to add this information into the meter.
