Thread: New James Bond Theme - Another Way to Die....

The dude from the White Stripes and Alicia Keys sing the theme....

OK, watch it for yourself, but IMHO this sucks harder than any other theme that has come before. I hated the lead singer from Soundgarden doing the theme from Casino Royale "You Know His Name" (or whatever it was called), but this is even worse.....

Somewhere, A-Ha is happy as "The Living Daylights" will no longer be derided as the worst theme ever. The last one to do a decent job was Shirley Manson doing "The World is Not Enough".

Like it or not, the James Bond Movie Series is still relative because they continue to keep them updated for the latest generation. Personally, I liked the the Chris Cornell Theme from Casino Royale. As a matter of fact, I loved everything about that movie. Best Bond Flick by far in quite some time IMO.

No fight outta me..... I loved the "reboot"of the franchise (although I hated the casting at first, Craig won me over quick.....). The new trailer looks amazing....

The Casino Royale theme was OK, but nothing that would compel me to add it to my mp3 player.... This new one is so goddawful, that I'll change the radio station if I ever heard it... Not likely since most stations won't play it more than once or twice.

Shame too, since Amy Winehouse was lined up to do it but bailed due to creative differences (read that to mean that she hated the song too or she was rebounding into rehab again and they didn't want to deal with her anymore)

Still psyched about the movie, but they need to hire a new songwriter next time.... Hopefully David Arnold is still doing the movie score..... He's been great since Tomorrow Never Dies....

I thought it was ok... of course, I do enjoy both Alicia Keys and The White Stripes... so go figure.

Yeah, the new one is a bit weak. Hopefully it grows on me when I hear it folded into the movie.

I wish the rumor that Duffy was going to do it was true. Would have been much better.
