I have a friend who's a 911 operator. The stories she tells. People call when their morning paper hasn't been delivered or when their cable is down. They want the bus schedule, a taxi or the weather forecast. Then there's the woman who called and insisted that the government had implanted a TV camera in her dog's nose and were watching her. There's an awful lot of strange folks out there.
