What if she was? What if it was your mom, your wife, or your daughter? Would you have a different opinion then? I expect so. This isn't so much about what happened this time as it is about what could happen in the future to someone else...

No, now that this is out there, they need to make sure that it doesn't happen in the future (regardless of whether it happened in the past).

Your post makes no sense. You act like someone is going to make sure that they are dressed appropriately in their home at all times. That just isn't the case. To say that no one you know has ever made a phone call wearing something that they wouldn't mind the whole world seeing is absurd.
