We Are The World - Your Thoughts

    ADVERTS 1
Well the just aired the new version of We Are The World. What did you think?

I do like how they added Michael Jackson in, but other then that I really didnt like it.

I didn't get the shouting in another language or the end of the song.

I didn't know who a lot of those artists were who appeared, but in thinking back when the original "We are the World" came out I think I said the same thing and look at the talent and superstars that came out of that group.

    Whats your thoughts?
    Scott

The original was 100% better. I really did not like what they did with it.

Agree, the original was an event. This, not so much. Wish they would have just done a different song.

I remember the original very well, but haven't seen the entire new version yet. I did see part of a "making of" clip somewhere, but except for the older performers I hadn't a clue who most of the others where. When did I get old?

    Really ?
When the original "We are the world" came out you didn't know who Bruce Springsteen was ? Cindy Lauper ? Diana Ross ? Stevie Wonder ? Lioneel Richie ? At the time pretty much all the performers were recognizeable to most people.

I hated the MJ part and the whole thing is just old and tired.
