FX and FoxNews are part of the package, Speed is not.

If you're only looking for the locals, and your TV has a QAM tuner, all you need is the cheapest basic cable they offer. In my area (Comcast) it costs under $7 a month. I get ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS, and CW in HD along with several SD digital channels. Works great as a complement to DISH.

Actually, digital starter = standard + basic cable + on demand. Nuttin else. I was looking into the so called Cable + Internet double play. For the E-town, PA system, I was told it included 2-71 and on demand. (then add in HD channels for an extra $6.50 a month) It lost it's luster after I realized the 100-level channels were not included.

That appears to be your complete channel lineup if you were to sub to every channel that Comcast has. I have found that Comcast website sucks and is not very user friendly or informative, you are better off going to your local Comcast office and requesting a rate card. These are generally more informative, however even these do not show everything available. In my area around Chatanooga TN, the Digital Starter package goes for the same $52.50/mo that Standard Cable (limited basic + expanded basic + value pack) and includes the same channels + Encore Multi-Plex, C-Span2, True TV, all the Music Choice channels, limited VOD, access to premiums if you pay extra. Digital Classic here exists, but I have yet to find pricing or channel line-up, Digital Premier hear goes for $68.45/mo and includes Standard cable, all non premium digital channels, VOD, Music Choice etc. Every Comcast system around the country is slightly diferant of course.
