8300HD Has no search or season pass?

I read an older post stating this. Is it still true? I am considering moving from Dish and my much loved VIP622. I know it will be a step-down, but lack of those two features is more like a long fall!

I don't know the answer since Comcast here uses the Motorola HD-PVR. However, AVS has what looks to be an excellent resource guide at this link:
