    You could get cheaper service if FiOS is in your area.
    Such a rip-off.
    They need to bring down the prices to compete with FiOS.

    This is the Comcast forum please keep it on topic and let's not get into the bashing.

    However, if you would like to make comparisons:
    FiOS is really barely even available in most areas. In the markets it is available it's still limited within those areas. The fastest speed I've heard even mentioned about FiOS is 30. Sounds like Comcast already has that licked with plans to go much faster.

    3x the price for 5x the speed, of which there is no direct competing product sounds like a pretty reasonable cost for someone that wants that kind of speed. Personally, I'm perfectly happy right now with 10 and their speedboost thing.

    Seriously though- when FiOS moves past the 1mil subscriber or so mark and begins to get into Comcast subscriber number territory and more directly competing with availability, then you can make comparisons.

    True. I think it was connection of 150 mbps. This service was for 50 mbps.

    I subscribed to Blast. Supposed to be 16mb. I am averaging 25 mb in Hayes Valley (San Francisco)
