I just got a letter from comcast regarding digital conversion. August 11th well see a nice rollout of new hd channels. September 1, we'll get even more. Not sure who is included in the greater Chicago area, but here are some additions:

FYI, on august 11, you will also need to get the digital converter box through comcast (up to two at no cost) to view standard cable channels).

Believe it or not, Comcast didn't dissapoint! So far, if you live in northwest Indiana you should be receiving the following channels already. some channels are on the guide, but must not have been turned on yet, but they said it would happen Sept. 1, so they are still ahead of schedule.
