It had to be a kid. They went in my sons room and took the money out of his wallet (about $40) and took his safe which had about $400 in it.

We found the safe in the basement broken open with the money in it gone. They used tools from my toolbox to open it.

The police came quick with 4 cars, and took lots of pictures and took some of the evidence and even dusted for prints.

Also my wife had some christmas gifts in a few Jewelry store bags, the person took those bags.

We put plywood over the window of the door that was broken into and secured the door.

It could have been worse. None of the electronics were touched and we have a lot of electronics in the house.
