We just purchased a DTVPAL DVD Cannot figure out how to record 2 programs playing at the same time!! Any Help please

This question needs to be moved to the appropriate forum. The forum of choice would be the Digital Over The Air (OTA) forum.
Generally speaking, you set two timers and the DVR records two programs.

Winegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet
Two 6 foot Fortec dish with GeoSatPro dual C-Band LNB "ghetto moved" to various C-Band satellites

Hello, Please if I could ask for your help, we just purchased the DTVPAL DVR, we love it but Cannot figure out how to record 2 programs running at the same time on different channels.

goto guide and press record on one channel, select other one and press record again

Maybe you should try it. It can be very difficult to debug something like this with an intermediary.
I like using timers because it usually gives you a warning when you're trying to do something that can't be done for some reason.
Has there been any attempt to read the documentation?

Yea, try it yourself. I record two shows at the same time about 3 times a week with no issues. I normaly do what Smitty says, set to record in the guide. Then if I want to change a timer to weekly I just go into the timer menu and edit it. This box has been great since they upgraded the firmware months ago.
