Here's what the dealer has to say about the SV 8000 HD's OTA capabilities. Seems the ads need to be updated. Also the website they list in the email doesn't seem to respond to inquiries...

Hi,
After some research, I found out that the original firmware that came with the receiver does not yet fully activated to handle Sonicview OTA features. You may also need special OTA antenna for that too. I strongly suggest you to contact Sonicview official support to get more information about this. If you want to find out when they will release the patch/firmware with this feature, you can contact Sonicview directly at www.SonicviewUSA.com.
