NEVER hook two amps up in series - BOOM!!!
Well, maybe not BOOM, but it may seriously overload the tuner on your reciever and rarely will improve reception.Hitachi 57F59; Sony VHP-D50Q - 7' diag on wall

I don't think your antennacraft amp is amping bro.You should get a lot more gain with it by itself than with the distribution amp. Also as Jim stated never connect 2 amps in line they don't play well together and could damage both amps or other equipment. If you had a tester you could check that amp out, most of the time its the pole mounted amp that goes out.Had that happen several times over the years.Ended up with more wall amps than pole mounted.

Ditto what Teehar said. A quality pre amp will almost always exceed anything a distribution amp can do. I have had a gut feel from the beginning that there is something not right with your preamp or the way it is installed. Looking at the TVfool data and what you describe about your surroundings the antenna on its own should be getting the station most of the time. The length of the cable is probably playing a role in not getting a signal and that is where the preamp becomes necessary.

Ku-band: 40x30 inch Primestar on 97w, Dish 500 conversion on 83w, 28x26 inch Wildblue conversion on 30w,
