    Question signal loss

    ADVERTS 1
How much signal loss is there when you use a F type barrel connector female to female in a RG-6 Coax Cable run. I need to use two in 40ft for OTA on a 622 ?

    Thanks...Ed

It will not hurt with the 40' run with two barrel connectors. Typically, it maybe 3 dB loss.

like anything else there are different grades of f-f barrel connectors . I use ones rated for 3 ghz.

approx. .2 db loss per supplier documentation.

Thanks for your replies. I see how it works out tomorrow with a DB2 UHF HDTV OTA Antenna
